Taylor Weimer
My name is Taylor Weimer, and I wanted to take the time to formally introduce myself to you as the 6-12 Band Director for the 2018-2019 school year.
I come to you as a passionate music educator who has stayed with the music program in Manitou School District for most of my life. I began as a student here in Manitou, and went through the band program in Manitou Middle School all the way through my senior year in Manitou High School. I stayed close to home and studied music at the University of Colorado, and have since been teaching music at Ute Pass and through Arts14. Some of you may already know me as a teacher, and some of you I will have the pleasure of meeting for the first time. If we haven’t yet met, I am very much looking forward to getting to know each one of you, and I also can’t wait to see all the faces of my former students again!
I am so excited and very much looking forward to all the music, laughs and learning we will share together for the 2018-2019 school year!
