Jay Woodard, Assistant Principal Manitou Springs High School

Mr. Woodard became Assistant Principal in 1997. He was originally from Danville, Illinois and graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He taught PE and coached in Missouri before returning to Danville to teach English and speech, and to coach football. He later became Dean of Students and then an Assistant Principal at Danville High School. Mr. Woodard moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado and worked in microelectronics at NCR and Symbios Logic in the microelectronics field. He was the Assistant Principal at Rifle High School for three years before coming to Manitou Springs.
