Concurrent Enrollment
Manitou Springs High School is proud to offer a variety of Post-Secondary pathways for students. Concurrent Enrollment is one of those pathways. Concurrent enrollment credits allow students to earn college and high school credits at the same time with no cost to the family or student. These are rigorous classes with high expectations of academic achievement and self-reliance
We offer three exciting opportunities for students to earn Concurrent Enrollment credits:
Degree Start: These classes take place on the PPSC campus during the morning blocks. Students take classes aligned with their ICAP and post-secondary plans.
On Campus CE: These are classes taught by our staff and have been approved by either CSU-Pueblo or PPSC. These classes also require high expectations of academic achievement and self-reliance. Students take classes aligned with their ICAP and post-secondary plans.
Career Start: These classes take place on the PPSC campus during the morning blocks. Students choose a pathway of their choice that are aligned with their ICAP and post-secondary plans. These classes are meant for students who are looking for an industry credential or to join the workforce after high school trained for a high demand job.
Students interested in these opportunities should meet with their counselor early in the academic year to plan ahead.
