Paula joined the District as Nutrition Services Director in 2005. She has been part of the food service industry for over 30 years. Paula is Chef of the Culinary Class she teaches for our high school students, and is active in Connect 14, as well as being active in the Wellness Committee, District-wide. She is married and has four children, three of whom are married, and four grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her family and her two pups.

Leidy (Titiana) Shafer

Tatiana began her employment with us at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Along with her many duties in the kitchen, she helps serve lunch to the students at Manitou Springs Elementary School.She has one child, Tomas, who is in the third grade at Manitou Elementary. In her spare time you might find her with Tomas sliding down slides in the playground by her house, or roller skating or biking. She also loves to cook.

Clydett Ingram

Cydette joined Manitou Springs SD in August 2024, she is named after her dad. Cydette is a native of Colorado Springs. She have been married to  her husband for 44 years, and  have two wonderful sons.  Her hobbies are quilting and traveling.  Cydette have worked in k-12 school nutrition for 20 years.  She so excited to be at Manitou Springs School District Nutrition Services.

Valerie Williams

Valerie joined our department in 2016. She is the other half of the high school team that takes care of our students lunch needs. Val has one daughter, Gabrielle, who also works in the district and is our resident artist. Val is actively involved in Connect 14. You can find her at fairs around the Manitou and Colorado Springs are selling her jewelry and other artwork when she is not at work.


Teresa Leets

Teresa began with Nutrition Services in 2018. She is one of the team that serves breakfast and lunch at our high school. She has two children one grandchild. Teresa enjoys her friends and can probably be found climbing the Incline most weekends.

Born in Long Beach CA, she works in nutrition services.
Her greatest achievement is making comic books and having them printed.
Love music and art. Loves her cats and turtle.

Born in Kingston Jamaica, I have been working in Nutrition Services at the Middle school. I have also worked as CNA for 20 years, Housekeeper, and Hospitality aid. I love to cook and spend time with my family.

Born in California, I’ve been cooking and serving tasty & health Food for 37 years. I work at Manitou Elementary School.
I Love long hikes in the woods with my dogs and love to bird watch.

Born in New York, I have been in the medical field for 20 years before starting a new career in Nutrition service. I work at Manitou Elementary School.
My hobbies are raising chickens and bees, growing a garden.
My personal motto is Water it and it will grow.
