What a beautiful day to celebrate Manitou Springs School District 14's
homecoming! Students, staff, families, and community members lined the
streets in downtown Manitou Springs for the homecoming parade.

150 Years Anniversary Movie
Return of the “M” tradition on the mountain.
We have been partnering with the City of Manitou Springs to bring back
the tradition of the letter “M” on the mountain (next to the water
tower). Thank you to, Angie Glass, for leading the restart of this tradition for our community.

Create “The Mustang Way” a connector trail to the Intemann Trail
This trail development will be in partnership with Manitou CATS and
include high school student, staff, and parent volunteers. There will be
a celebratory dedication of the trail once it is complete.

- Day of Giving Back: Service to our Community (Manitou Springs, Cascade, Green Mountain Falls, Chipita Park)
We will coordinate a day to clean up our communities together–with students, staff, families, and community members.
- Time Capsule
We will have an opportunity for a time capsule to be dedicated to the district to be opened in the year 2072.
Students will lead this opportunity.
- Other Opportunities as they arise…
*Manitou Springs Elementary School also turns 100 years old this year. There will be other celebrations around the school’s anniversary.
